This California native grew up as a great fan of pop-country superstar John Denver. Amazingly, as he matured it became quite evident his vocal prowess as well as his physical stature actually started taking on the Denver persona. In recent years, Jim Curry has enjoyed a tremendous success, as Denver fans all over the world have begun to identify him as an almost reincarnation of their idol. He has become the center of attention at Denver tributes and has enjoyed monumental acceptance from Denver fan clubs everywhere. Welch has been immortalized many times over as he can be heard on some of Mancini's most noted recordings.
